Description

General: Members of the scientific genus Cynarina naturally occupy coastal reefs surrounding Africa, Australia, and southern Japan. As with any LPS, it is crritical to ensure there are sufficient amounts of Calicum, and Magnesium within the system. The Cynarina prefer a relatively low amounts of current, and light.

Temperament: The Cynarina are typically a peaceful coral, and mix well with invertebrates. It is often best to maintain a six to twelve inch space between them, and other potentially aggressive coral. The Cynarina are also susceptible to any toxin producing coral.

Aquarium Diet: Filter feeding corals with the addition of various species of Shrimp, as well as other macroscopic food particles naturally present within cycled aquaria, will promote accelerated growth rates.
