Description
General: Named after the high dorsal fin of a shark, the Hi-Finned Bull (false) Shark (Ariopsis seemani) are an active catfish from the many tributaries of Central America. The Hi-Finned Bull Shark will reach a length of up to twelve inches, and should be kept in a semi-aggressive community setting. The Hi-Finned Bull Shark are considered to be scaleless (finely scaled), so they are susceptible to external parasitism. Like the Pictus Catfish, Hi-Finned Bull Shark are briefly tolerant of brackish environmental conditions.
