General: The Caridina cantonensis var. "Crystal Black" are an invertebrate species from the wetlands of Southeast Asia. Crystal Shrimp are peaceful, colorful, and will frequently reproduce assuming optimal water chemistry. They can reach a length of two inches, and live up to two years in captivity.
Fecundity: The Caridina cantonensis var. "Crystal Black" may produce up to 50 eggs per clutch.
