General: The Green Chromis (Chromis viridis) naturally occupy reefs within the Pacific, and Indonesian Ocean. The Green Chromis will reach a length of four inches, are considered to be reef safe, is a relatively hardy starter fish, and will require a minimum tank size of 20 gallons. This member of the scientific family Pomacentridae is typically an active, and peaceful fish. The Green Chromis may be kept as an individual, or in groups larger than three. Regardless, the Green Chromis should always be kept with peaceful, or semi-aggressive fish species.
Aquarium Diet: Primarily, the Green Chromis (Chromis viridis) consumes benthal (bottom dwelling) invertebrates such as zooplankton, mysis shrimp, and algae.
