Description
General: The Head & Taillight Tetra (Hemigrammus ocellifer) is a South American fish species, native to the many tributaries of the Amazon River. The Head & Taillight Tetra will reach a length of two inches, and may for several years in captivity. Being a smaller, more passive Tetra, it is best kept within a peaceful community setting.

Aquarium Diet (Omnivore): Brine Shrimp, Blackworms, Omnivore Pellet, Spirulina, Tropical Flake
Dimorphism: It is difficult to determine the gender of the Head & Taillight Tetra (Hemigrammus ocellifer). However, the female will take on a more gravid appearance when ready to reproduce.
