General: The Paleatus Cory Catfish (Corydoras paleatus) is a peaceful, social catfish from the wetlands of Brazil. The Paleatus Corydoras is a facultative air-breather, meaning it comes to the surface to breathe during naturally anoxic (without oxygen) periods that stagnant bodies of water sometimes undergo. Members of the Corydoras scientific genus are relatively hardy, and tend to be very social with other Cory Catfish.
Fecundity: The Paleatus Cory Catfish (Corydoras paleatus) may produce over 1,000 eggs per clutch.
Aquarium Diet (Omnivore): Brine Shrimp, Baby Brine Shrimp, Blackworms, Omnivore Pellet, Algae Wafer
