General: The Schwartzi Cory Catfish (Corydoras schwartzi) is a peaceful, social catfish from Brazil. The Schwartzi Corydoras is a facultative air-breather, meaning it comes to the surface to breathe during naturally anoxic (without oxygen) periods that stagnant bodies of water sometimes undergo. Members of the Corydoras scientific genus are relatively hardy, and tend to be very social with other species of Cory Catfish.

Aquarium Diet (Omnivore): Brine Shrimp, Blackworms, Spirulina, Daphnia, Algae Wafer, Boiled Cucumber
Dimorphism: The Schwartzi Cory Catfish (Corydoras schwartzi) female will take on a more gravid appearance when ready to reproduce.
Compatibility: Members of the Corydoras genus are typically compatible with other Corydoras, Tetra, Danio, Rasbora, Hatchetfish, Pencilfish, and other small community-based species.
