Description


General: The Red Tail Tinfoil Barb (Barbonymus altus) is an inhabitant of several major Southeast Asian River systems. The Red Tail Tinfoil Barb will reach a length of eight inches, and live well over ten years in captivity. Being a schooling fish species, it is recommended having at least three individuals in an aquarium larger than one hundred gallons in size.

Aquarium Diet (Omnivore): Brine Shrimp, Bloodworms, Blackworms, Ghost Shrimp, Tropical Flake, Omnivore Pellet, Daphnia, Spirulina
