General: The Two Spot Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus binotatus) naturally occupy various reefs within the Indonesian, and Pacific Ocean. The Two Spot Bristletooth Tang will reach a length of nine inches, is considered to be "reef safe with caution", and should be kept in an aquarium larger than 100 gallons. This Tang is typically a peaceful marine fish that may be utilized to "cycle" a new aquarium. The Two Spot Bristletooth Tang should not be kept with another of its own species, regardless of size. However, the Two Spot Bristletooth will typically be accepting of other Tang species.
Aquarium Diet (Herbivorous): The Two Spot Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus binotatus) are naturally herbivorous, primarily consuming various algal species. However, optimal health is more likely to be achieved with a balanced diet including microinvertebrates such as copepods, or baby Brine Shrimp.
