General: The White Blenny (Meiacanthus smithii) naturally occupy reefs within the Indo-Pacific Ocean(s). The White Blenny will reach a length of three inches, are considered to be reef safe, is a relatively efficient algae eater, and will require a minimum tank size of 20 gallons. This Blenny is typically an active, and peaceful fish. However, some individuals may feel the need to acquire a certain territory. The White Blenny is best kept as an individual, or mated pair.
Aquarium Diet (Omnivore): The White Blenny (Meicanthus smithii) has a mouth that is naturally designed to rasp algal materials off of rock. The addition of algal species including Spirulina, and Nori will help insure sufficient food supply for the any Blenny.
