Description
General: The Zebra Danio (Danio rerio) is a streamline fish species from the river systems of Northern India. A very common choice for the first time aquarist, the Zebra Danio is a relatively hardy fish. The Zebra Danio will reach a length of two inches, and can live over five years in captivity. The Zebra Danio is a naturally schooling species, that should be kept in groups of over six.
Fecundity: The Zebra Danio (Danio rerio) may produce over 100 eggs per clutch.
